5 best and worst performing equity funds of FY2018-Morningstar

Morningstar has recently written a piece on the best and worst performing equity funds of FY 2018.

Not much explanation required here.
What is interesting is the large disparity between the best and worst funds.

NOTE.  PPCP's Dynamic Market Long Fund has returned 26.54% (before fees) over the same period, putting it up with the best returning Large Cap funds.

PPCP Methodology

PPCP has recently been asked by investors to explain how the PPCP Methodology would operate in a volatile market as we have seen in the last quarter.

In simple terms the PPCP Methodology continues operating under its principles, ie:

• Adequate Margin of Safety;
• 1+yr Investment Horizon;
• Manage Risk First; and
• Learning and Process Improvement.

To illustrate, we attach an analysis of the recent actual performance of the PPCP Australian Dynamic Market Long Fund Strategy to show how our principles can provide "adequate" levels of Performance and Preservation for our Investors, in a volatile and down market.
